In 1987, bicycle racer David Hollands and fashion student Carol Prantner brought their talents together to create Sugoi. In Vancouver, BC at the time, cyclists were hard pressed to find genuine technical apparel. In fact, the little selection that could be found trickled in from Europe and Asia. As necessity is the mother of invention they started creating a line of bike shorts. That line would set the bar for their future innovation and excellence.
